The San Kor library, a new construction in the Khmer style, opened its doors to young Cambodian students hungry for knowledge. This marvellous educational facility, constructed by the French-Cambodian organisation, SIPAR, obtained support from the prestigious Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen and the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation.
For 25 years, SIPAR, which fights against illiteracy in Cambodia, has been providing schools with libraries and translating children’s books into the national language. In fact, the first book translated by this organisation was The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
