To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the death of the author of The Little Prince, an exhibition of drawings by Cédric Fernandez was displayed on the gates of the Jardin Royal (rue du 8 mai 1945) throughout the summer of 2024.

The drawings were taken from the three-volume comic book about Antoine de Saint Exupéry, written by Pierre-Roland Saint-Dizier and illustrated by Cédric Fernandez. Visitors discovered his life through the panels of the exhibition.

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, local schoolchildren took part in events around the panels and sculpture, paying tribute to the life and work of the pilot-writer.

Visitors to the park can also admire the statue created by Madeleine Tezenas du Montcel, inaugurated in 2000 to mark the author’s centenary.
