To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s death and as part of the Festival Cuturel de la France à Singapour, an international touring exhibition “Antoine de Saint Exupéry – When a Prince Takes Flight”, celebrating the life of the pilot-writer and the legacy of the visionary behind The Little Prince, took place from May 3 to July 31, 2024 in the gallery of the Alliance Française de Singapour in partnership with the French Embassy in Singapore and the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation.

This unique international exhibition is available for rental to support the Foundation’s actions in favor of young people around the world.

In this exhibition, visitors will discover three singular chapters in the life of the famous writer-aviator, through personal objects that once belonged to Antoine de Saint Exupéry, as well as a selection of his drawings, illustrated letters, manuscripts and rare books from the collections of his foundation:

The Writer: Dive into the ink-stained pages of Saint-Exupéry’s imagination and explore the literary cosmos he created, where fantasy and wisdom intertwine.

The adventurer: Let your imagination soar and traverse the limitless skies alongside Saint-Exupéry, tracing the contours of his daring exploits and unwavering spirit of exploration.Laissez votre imagination s’envoler et traversez les cieux illimités aux côtés de Saint-Exupéry, en traçant les contours de ses exploits audacieux et de son inébranlable esprit d’exploration.

The hero of the Second World War: on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of France, honor Saint-Exupéry’s courage and conviction, by paying tribute to his unwavering commitment to the ideals that shaped his destiny.

This magnificent exhibition, in collaboration with the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation, was part of the program to commemorate the “80th anniversary of the Liberation of France”.

At the inauguration, Olivier d’Agay, President of the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation, and Nicolas Delsalle, General Delegate, were on hand with local partners to celebrate the values of the pilot-writer.
