The Château de Bois-Guilbert in Normandy, which has been awarded the Jardin Remarquable label, is transformed into a place of poetry and reflection with a special exhibition dedicated to Antoine de Saint Exupéry, organized in partnership with the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the pilot-writer’s disappearance.

From April 1 to November 3, this exhibition invites visitors to explore the captivating life and work of Saint Exupéry. Drawings by Cédric Fernandez, illustrator and co-author of the 3-volume comic book about Antoine de Saint Exupéry published by Glénat, and sculptures by Jean-Marc de Pas, including the representation of The Little Prince inaugurated on 5th Avenue in New York in September 2023, will be at the center of this playful experience.

Under the patronage of writer and geographer Michel Bussi, the exhibition features a variety of commemorative objects and historical documents, as well as pedagogical panels to explore the different facets of Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s life and work. The exhibition is also a wonderful opportunity to share Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s humanist messages of peace, friendship, relationships and sharing with all generations.

Several special events invite visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Saint Exupéry and behind-the-scenes creative work: meetings and lectures on the life and work of Antoine de Saint Exupéry, guided tours, a visit to the sculpture workshop and a meeting with artist Jean-Marc de Pas, readings and introductory modeling workshops inspired by illustrations from The Little Prince.
