The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation (FASEJ) grants its patronage to the French NGO Les Ailes du Petit Prince, chaired by Jean Philippe Mayol, which since 1998 has been organising operations aiming to offer handicapped or sick youth their first flights, as well as a range of activities that they may share with their family in an environment favouring exchange and conviviality.

Thanks to a group of 60 volunteers coming from the world of aviation, the medical or paramedical sector or logistics, Les Ailes du Petit Prince is able tocarry out several actions every year in France, which allow thousands of children to make their dream of flying come true and to create bonds, in the spirit of the famous French writer and aviator.

On 14 and 15 May 2011, more than 80 children had the opportunity to discover the magic of flying in Montélimar by attending a show/concert and a conference about the life and work of the author of The Little Prince, as well as a spectacular air show organised by the NGO Airshow, with the collaboration of the Musée Européen de l’Aviation de Chasse (European Museum for Fighter Planes), and in the presence of the nephew and godson of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Mr. François d’AGAY, Chairman of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation and Honorary Chairman of Les Ailes du Petit Prince.

On 25 September 2011, it was the turn of the flying club of Macon to host the NGO and its Little Princes, offering 30 youths a new day of happiness and dreams, under the Burgundian skies.
