From May 15 to 18, 2025, at the Toulouse MEETT, the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation will be the honorary guest at the second edition of the Toulouse Space Festival, a public event dedicated to space, science and imagination.

This honor is all the more symbolic in that Claudie Haigneré, the first French woman astronaut and committed patron of the Foundation, is also the official patron of this 2025 edition. This convergence powerfully embodies the humanist, scientific and poetic values espoused by aviation pioneer and visionary writer Antoine de Saint Exupéry.

When the Little Prince meets the stars

Throughout the festival, several highlights will enable the public to discover the lasting impact of Saint Exupéry and his Little Prince on the world of astronomy, innovation and education:

  • Round table “How does the Little Prince inspire space exploration?”
With the participation of Olivier d’Agay, grand-nephew of Antoine de Saint Exupéry and Chairman of the Foundation, Barbara Belvisi, founder of Interstellar Lab, and Philippe Perrin, astronaut and ambassador of the Foundation. Together, they will discuss the influence of the Little Prince’s universe on the way we think about space, innovation and the unknown.
  • A major talk by astrophysicist Brice-Olivier Demory, accompanied by Meriem El Yaouri and Clara Obry, involved in “Les Étoiles du Petit Prince” educational astronomy project supported by the Foundation.
  • Youth competition on the theme of The Little Prince, inviting children to explore their own vision of the stars and the imaginary of space, through artistic and scientific creations.
  • Screening of the animated film The Little Prince (Mark Osborne), a poetic, modern cinematic work adapted from Saint Exupéry’s timeless masterpiece.

This event is yet another reminder of the extent to which the work of Antoine de Saint Exupéry continues to inspire future generations, carrying high the values of curiosity, responsibility, transmission and dreams. Like the Little Prince, the exploration of the universe is above all a human adventure.

See you at the Toulouse Space Festival 2025!
