On 6 March 2014, His Excellency Mr. Thierry VITEAU, French Ambassador in Thailand, organised an official reception in honour of the visit of representatives of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation, including Olivier d’Agay, great-nephew of the famous aviator and writer, at the Residence of France in Bangkok.
This event notably allowed the Foundation to present the different charitable activities it has carried out in Asia and to discuss the literary and artistic impact of the author of Southern Mail, who even today continues to contribute to the influence of France and to the development of the French language worldwide. Several Thai university professors were invited to this reception, as well as local leaders of major French groups that are partners of the Foundation, such as Airbus, Accor and Air France.
